Description:

Bol campanulé gris, à panse ornée de motifs estampés. Style "Kenjō-Garatsu"

Description iconographique:

La panse est orné de motifs de grues et de nuages estampés. Ce motif de grues avec nuages stylisés, appelé "unkaku-de" apparaît sur de grands plats de Karatsu que l’on date du milieu du 19è siècle. Apparemment, un même tampon a servi à la réalisation de l’ensemble des décors. Ce motif paraît avoir déjà utilisé au 17è siècle dans l’île de Shikoku, à la manufacture d’Odo, près de Kōchi au sud, ainsi qu’à Yonose, près d’Ozu à l’ouest du Japon.
