Beppu Bamboo Basketry (Japanese: 別府竹細工, Beppu takezaiku) is a traditional form of Japanese bamboo craft produced in and around Beppu, Ōita Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu, Japan. It is especially associated with finely woven baskets, flower vessels, tea utensils, household containers, bags, interior objects, and contemporary bamboo art.
